Prism and Rockwings

We just recently got back from a vacation where we drove cross country! Before we left, I painted this Kitsune in a color scheme I call “Prism”. It reminds me of an oil slick. I also painted two pieces in a scheme I call “Rockwing”. A Keeper Dragon, and a Small Dragon counterpart. This scheme was made when inspiration struck after seeing a beautiful piece of southwestern American inspired artwork. The wings were inspired directly by “red rock”, giving the color scheme its name!

Pale Sunset Rock Dragon

Here’s yet another “Pale Sunset” Piece – this time the Rock Dragon is wearing the scheme! This one has a matte topcoat and sports the same rose gold detailing color that the Small Dragon I painted previously had. She sits on a galaxy rock.

Pale Sunset Dragon

Yet another piece painted in the “Pale Sunset” scheme – this time a small Dragon! This guy has details in rose gold paint, and features two swarovski crystals – one in his forehead, and one clutched in his tail. He has a matte topcoat.

Pale Sunset

Using the same colors that I used for my previous “Vivid Sunset”‘s fur, I painted this Kitsune to resemble a paler version of a sunset. Still vivid, so maybe a misnomer, but I’m in love with these colors together regardless!
